Doctor Appointment

Today I had a doctor appointment for the boys! They looked great. I was able to see the doctor that is the most senior in the practice which was a relief because my last visit was so stressful with the youngest doctor. Dr. Lamoreaux talked with us about pre-term labor a little bit and when I needed to be worried about contractions, which was also a relief because I have been having them every day! I felt validated after this talk with him because when I had called in last week about my contractions and the nurse blew me off a little bit. It was frustrating because I was seeking information about how to be healthier for my babies and she was so unwilling to tell me anything. We were happy to find out that the babies look so good.

A BIG update

So, instead of ONE pea in our jar, we are having two! Finding out we were having twin babies absolutely shocked me. I guess it's just one of those things that you never think would actually happen to you. In a book that my fabulous sister Laura gave me called, "Ready or Not, Here We Come" I identified with this quote entirely.

It said, "I know that God doesn't send us anything we can't handle, I'm just pretty sure he has me mixed up with someone else."

I feel this way often when I think of becoming a twin Mama. I will try and keep everything updated a little better from here on out, I know it's been a while since I have gotten on here and updated everything. So, here are a few pictures of me these days!

a PEA in our jar!

As most of you are already aware, we are having a baby in June. I am sick as a dog and Tyson is...hungry (I'm not much for cookin' these days) Last night we had an emergency room adventure. I hadn't had fluids that I kept down for about two days or so and I was getting pretty worried so I called the doctor and he told me to go on in and get some IV fluids. I did and it took FOREVER as well as made me all puffy. I look like a little kid with fat wrists and toes. I'll get some pictures up, I promise. My camera cord is just missing as of late...anyways....more later!!

Newly...everything

Seems like my life has been turned up side down and shaken around real' good. You know that feeling that you get after you get off of a roller coaster that makes you knees weak and vision a little blurry? I feel that all the time. It's fun, you know? But it still takes my breath away sometimes when I see him.
I have gotten a new job just recently and I finished my training today. I now know everything there is to know about Apx Alarms. Just call, and I'll say (very professionally) "Thank you for calling Apx Alarm customer support, this is Beth, how can I help you?" This week I learned that "professionalism" is synonymous with "raise your voice up an octave and drop your IQ a couple of points." I'm serious, say it out loud like it's the most exciting news you've ever told anyone in your whole life, and see how it sounds to you.
Tyson and I are doing really well. It was great fun to have my family in town for a few days for Matt and Crystal's wedding. It was so beautiful and FINALLY...all of us in the Jaynes clan are married. Mom and Dad must be pretty proud to have all of us married in the temple. They can finally relax now, right?
I will be taking a full load in school this Fall. I will post my class and work schedule on here so that everyone can know when I will be available...which will not be very often since I will be working full time and going to school full time. I think this is what big people do though. So I'm doin' it. I promise not to pull all my hair out, and not to burn anything down. Well, at least not any big things.
